<p>PURPOSE:To enable the conversion from the XY coordinate to the polar coordinate with a small capacity of memory circuit, by making agreement the center of Braun tube display screen to the origin of XY coordinate and storing the location of picture element in an arbitrary sectioned area of the display screen sectioned into four. CONSTITUTION:Each of the reflection waves returned and coming to the memory unit 5 is stored in the memory unit corresponding to the azimuth and distance of returning and coming, and the memory circuit 11 is provided with the memory element corresponding to each picture element on the XY coordinate of the Braun tube display unit 17. The transfer from the memory circuit 5 to the memory circuit 11 is made with the transfer of the polar coordinate address circuit 10 corresponding memory element when the address designation figures x, y transmitted from the XY coordinate address circuit 12. The polar coordinate address circuit 10 stores the polar coordinate location corresponding to the location of XY coordinate and by using the capacity corresponding to 1/4 of the XY coordinates, the coordinate conversion of the polar coordinate is made.</p> |
