<p>The article of folding furniture, such as an under-sink cupboard has doors along the front (1) which each pivot on one upright next to one side. The side and door (3,4) pivot on the front by an angle of ninety degrees and the door pivots on the side, by an angle of two hundred and seventy degrees. A strip (2) along the front juts out past the front towards the side (3) by an amount equal to the thickness of the side. Of two pivot fitments, one has blades (6,11) fixed to the inside of the front and side, and the other has one blade (15) fixed to the edge of the door (4) and the other blade (19) has two bends and is fixed to the edge or inside of the side.</p> |
