PURPOSE:To provide an arrangement in which judgement about if an ignition timing is good or not can be made easily by meauring the ignition timing from the change in voltage at a plug code extended from the distributor and the change in phase angle of the crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:The crank shaft of an engine is rotated by a drive device, and voltage is applied to the ignition coil 57 which is connected to the distributor 21 mounted at the engine. The voltage change at spark plug cable 212 extended from the distributor 21 is sensed by a sensor 592 and the sensor apparatus body 591. On the other hand, the phase angle of crank shaft is determined from the signal given by No.2 pickup 549. Ignition timing of the engine is judged by these sensing signals. |
