<p>The solid-liquid separator comprises a vessel (2) equipped with an inner filter cloth (28) and entry orifices (11) for a suspension and purge orifices (9), a removable lid (14) with an auxiliary entry (19) for fluid under pressure, and an expandable membrane (16) placed between the vessel and the lid. The vessel is carried by a horizontal rotary shaft and can tilt for the removal of the cake originating from solid matter which forms a very adherent cake. <IMAGE></p> |
