<p>A washing dolly particularly for washing large articles comprises a first plate (11), a second plate below the first plate, a number of rollers (15) which are preferably corrugated and which are mounted below the second plate and means for holding the dolly to enable it to be rolled back and forth across the article to be washed. The first and second plates include holes (24) which are preferably offset from one another to allow washing liquid to flow through the holes and onto the article being washed.
