PURPOSE:To facilitate the automation, uniform the product and reduce the loss thereof, by mixing a fish or shellfish as a raw material with a seasoning and a binding material, forming the mixture into a tape, passing the tape mixture through a seasoning, and semidrying, cutting and drying the tape material. CONSTITUTION:A fish or shellfish as a raw material is mixed with a seasoning and a binding material, and the resultant mixture is rolled into a tape material 1. The tape material 1 is then withdrawn by rollers 2 and immersed in a seasoning 4 in a tank 3, and the excess seasoning is removed by rollers 5 and 6, and semidried in the first dryer 7. The dried tape material 1 is withdrawn by rollers 8, and a food, e.g. a powdery or granular sesame or nut, is dusted from a container 9 on the material 1. The material 1 is then skewered by a skewering machine 10 if necessary and cut in the forward direction by a rotary cutter 13 and then cut at a right angle to the forward direction by a reciprocating flat cutter 14. The cut material 1 is then completely dried in a multistage conveyor 16 in a dryer 15 while being transferred from the top to the bottom of the dryer 15. |
