<p>The model, allowing different combinations of wall and floor coverings to be displayed, comprises three mutually perpendicular display planes representing two walls and the floor, on which model furniture items can be positioned. Each plane is provided by a display web fed between supply and take-up reels with different designs etc. all reduced to the same scale as the model furniture, spaced along its length, the different webs controlled independently. Pref. the supply and take-up reels for each web are formed as a removable cassette, to allow them to be interchanged, for increasing the display possibilities. The reels for each cassette are pref. driven in synchronism by reversible electric motors. The motors for the two webs representing the room walls may be synchronised so that the same design appears on both walls at the same time.</p> |
