<p>Individual walling sections are connected to a striding support frame and towed with it. The system produces a pneumatic back filling wall, adjustable for height in flat and sloping settings in a mine. There is an independent wall section (10) for each frame (2). Each section is hung, near its top end face (12), with hinges (13,14) on the backfilling end of the frame cap (4) and skid (3). Each is enabled to swivel about the two top hinges by one or more swivel cylinders offset from its bottom end face (15). This permits tight closure of a face working not running at right angles.</p> |
