<p>The holder is oval shaped, made of plastics and incorporates a solar cell and a miniature fan motor. The motor rotates to cause air circulation through the soap holder around the outside of the tablet of soap, preventing it from becoming soft, after use and retaining its shape etc. Pref. the holder is formed as a dished base with a ridged interior surface receiving the soap and a cover incorporating the solar cell and the fan motor, with an external rotor carrying the fan blades. The energy supplied by the solar cell which is not required by the motor is fed to a battery associated with a voltage limiter and a current stabiliser. The air is drawn in by holes in the cover around the central solar cell and exits via an opening in the centre of the base.</p> |
