PURPOSE:To obtain a deflector without providing a ferromagnetic body which corrects coma aberration by obtaining the deflection magnetic field of an intermediate section as a barrel-type one and the magnetic field distribution on the electron gun side as a strand winding type in comparsion with this barrel-type magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:When a vertical winding 2 is toroidally wound to a funnel-shaped core 1, a reel-type magnetic field is generated on the screen side P1 and raster distortion is corrected. The orientation direction of three electron beams is assumed to match an X axis. The winding type magnetic field can be generated by reducing the interior angle theta1 of one half divided by the X axis. Further, in the intermediate position P2 of a core 1, a barrel-type magnetic field is generated by increasing an interior angle theta2 and misconvergence is prevented. Furthermore, coma aberration is mainly corrected by reducing an interior angle theta3 on the electron gun side P3 and generating the reel-type magnetic field, corresponding to the barrel-type magnetic field in the intermediate position P2. |
