PURPOSE:To obtain better bonding strength by a method in which a hot-melt adhesive in beads is coated on a pad and then the pad is joined with a carpet body. CONSTITUTION:In a carpet body 3, a pile 4 is flocked on a carpet base cloth 5 and also its lower layer is provided with a packing layer 6. A hot-melt adhesive 2 in beads is coated on the back side of a pad 1, and then the pad 1 is adhered to the carpet base cloth 5 by pressing the pile 4 on the surface of the carpet body 3 with a desired pressing force. In this case, the hot melt adhesive 2 is coated in beads on the back side of the pad 1 along the peripheral sides. |
