PURPOSE:To obtain a choline oxidase in high yield, by cultivating a choline oxidase producing fungus belonging to the genus Penicillium. CONSTITUTION:A funus having choline oxidase producing competence belonging to the genus Penicillium, e.g., Penicillium ochro-chloron No.79(FERM5303) is inoculated on a nutrient medium to which choline or choline-containing substance is added, the fungus is cultivated, and a choline oxidase is collected from the culture. |
