<p>Desethylated vincaminic, desoxyvincaminic derivs. of formula (I), their racemates, enantiomers, and stereoisomers, are new. (where either R1 and R2 are H or R1 is H; R2 is OH, or R1 and R2 together form a bond; R3 is OH, 2-4C alkoxy, or -NR5R6; R4 is H, halogen, methyl, methoxy or nitro; R5 and R6 is H, 1-4C alkyl, or 3-6C cycloalkyl). Anti-anoxic agents, useful in the treatment of cerebral vascular disorders, geriatric cerebral sclerosis, and mental lapses due to cranial trauma, administered orally or parenterally at a daily dosage of 10-100 mg.</p> |
