The mechanism mixes agricultural seed grain with dressing agents in the seed box of a seed drill. One or more mixing strips are fixed to rotary shafts in the box, and extend for the entire length inside the latter. There can be two or more such shafts, mounted in the lowest part of the box, and the strips can run parallel to the shafts. The latter can be arranged to turn in the same or opposite directions, being typically driven from the tractor power take-off.
