PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic actuator having a structure suitable for downsizing while efficiently and stably transmitting vibration energy of a stator to a rotor (actuating element).SOLUTION: The ultrasonic actuator includes: a stator 1 having an ultrasonic wave generator; an actuating element hole 13 penetratingly provided at the stator; and a columnar actuating element 2 rotating by being inserted into the actuating element hole. The actuating element is loosely inserted into the actuating element hole. A surface of the actuating element is partially brought into contact with an inner surface of the actuating element hole. The actuating element is so disposed as to be provided with an appropriate pressing force at a position where it is brought into contact.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
