Calorimeter for analysis of composite materials during mfr. - has programmer providing temp. differential for calculation of kinetic properties

The calorimeter comprises a temperature programmer (2) which applies several temperatures to a reference material (CR) and to a composite sample (CP). The temp. may be raised or lowered and the temperature difference from initial to final value is converted to heat flow by a converter (3). The values are applied to a scaling (4) and comparison (5) subroutines to obtain heat flow due to the inert component from the total heat dissipated. Integration subroutines (6, 7) are applied for temp. intervals and measured by a chronometer (8) to determine respective energies. The results are displayed (9) to record the kinetic properties of the composite material.
