PURPOSE:To detect abnormality on a cutting tool through comparison of input data with preset threshold value, by putting information for discrimination among threshold values in NC information. CONSTITUTION:Existence of discriminative information (M) is decided. If the decision is no, there is no need for detection of abnormality and accordingly no control. If it is yes, information (N) for discriminating threshold values in put in to read out a threshold value (T) corresponding with (N). The threshold value (T) is compared with data (D) from an NC machine tool 2 to decide on whether D>T or not. This operation is repeated as long as (M) is available. |
