<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from being applied with an excessive tension by shortening the time of operation by releasing braking force to a reel turntable where the tape comes to the operation position through the one-directional rotation of a motor and by locking the tape at the no-operation position through the opposite roration. CONSTITUTION:In fast-forward mode, the 1st and 2nd motors 30 and 42 turn to move main rod 36 and subrod 54 to the right through groove 52 of gear 50 with a cam and pin 38, and then projection 62 and pin 14 are unlocked mutually to bring idler 22 into contact with pulley 28, thereby rotating the take-up reel turntable. On detecting a tape end, motor 42 reverses and the engagement between gear 50 with the cam and arm 72 with a pawl rotates subrod 54 to press projection 62 against pin 14, thereby stopping the take-up reel turntable. Therefore, the braking means is released through the one-directional rotation of motor 42 and put in operation through the opposite rotation, so that the operation during the said actions can be quickened.</p> |
