PURPOSE:To perform switching for a characteristic of D/A converter, especially easy switching of bit resolution, by switching the current value of a current source and a reference voltage from the outside. CONSTITUTION:When a reference voltage VRef supplied to a D/A converter is switched from VRef1 to VRef3 by a switching circuit 4, the maximum voltage of conversion characteristic of the D/A converter is switched from VRef1 to VRef3. The D/A conversion characteristic, especially bit resolution can be increased by switching the current value of current sources 31-3n in the D/A converter from IRef2 to IRef4 by a switching circuit 5.
