PURPOSE:To make the selection change of frame pattern easy and to reduce the synchronism restoring time, by placing a random pattern generator at the receiving end the same as that at the transmission side and picking up the frame pattern through the collation of the output with a reception signal train. CONSTITUTION:A transmission side tandom pattern generator sets the bit arrangement of n-bit shift register SR at a bit pattern set circuit BPS, and an operation circuit ART takes an exclusive logical sum of the head bit and the final bit to produce the frame pattern by repeating the feedback of the sum to the head bit. The n is selected to a value smaller than the number of bits forming the frame pattern. On the other hand, the random pattern generator of the same constitution as the transmission side is provided also at the receiving side and the frame pattern is picked up by collating the output with a receiving signal train. |
