The invention relates to a crane, the base arrangement of which can serve as both a travelling and standing frame. The balance weight and a rope-tackle device are attached to the shorter side of the jib, which can be slewed endlessly all round. The load-suspension means is moved manually or by motor power along the longer side of the jib via a trolley. A grab, for example, on which the operating element is also located, can be fastened to the load-suspension means.
