PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of a fluorescent indicator tube, by arranging nonluminous status or letters on the periphery of a fluorescent indicating portion and indicating them selectively. CONSTITUTION:Wiring 2 is printed in a thick film on a transparent glass base 1 and this wiring 2 is kept insulated. Then, the first insulating layer 3 having optical diffusibility in white at least in a part 3(a) and the second insulating layer 4 made of a black and nonpermeable material and having a nonluminous indicating portion in a configuration with punched status or letters in a designated position 4(a) are printed in a thick film successively on the base 1. Furthermore, anode segments 5 are arranged in a shape, for example, the shape of a letter , they are connected to the wiring 2 through holes 6, and the anode segments 5 are coated with phosphor 7. The designated position 4(a) of the second insulating layer 4 is punched with a letters or status punching dice arranged on this position, and the peripheral portion is subjected to thick film printing. Thereby, electric power consumption can be reduced. |
