PURPOSE:To prevent the steering center position from being influenced by fluctuation of a steering wheel while the vehicle is running, by stabilizing and detecting the center position by electric circuit means. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 16 has been on, the voltage to be stored in a condenser 17 is changed, and the electric potential of the point a is changed in accordance with the change of the detected voltage of a sensor 6. However, when the output of a comparator 13 repeats showing a low level and a high level at an interval shorter than a preset interval of a counter 3, since a switch 18 is kept OFF by the action of the counter 3, the change of the voltage at the point a will not be transmitted to a terminal 21. Accordingly, when the change of the detected voltage of a sensor 6 is a simple fluctuation, the electrical potential of the point a will be changed according to that fluctuation, but the voltage at the terminal 21 would not be changed, and a voltage regarded as the steering angle center can be detected in a stabilized state from the terminal 21. |
