PURPOSE:To accurately transmit the steering of a steering wheel for the vehicle body to a sensor, by interposing the sensor into a steering displacement transmission system. CONSTITUTION:A head pipe 2 is a body side member, while a steering shaft 3 is a steering side member, and the head pipe 2 is outside, and the steering shaft 3 is inside, so that they are in inner and outer shaft relationship. When by steering a steering wheel a rotating shaft 22 is rotated, an arm part 22a is turned from a center position A corresponding to the neutral position to positions B, C according to the magnitude of steering angle of the steering wheel and the direction of steering, and therefore the contact position of a resistor 20b in contact with a brush 22b is changed, the voltage that can be detected from the resistor 20b is changed, and the sensor 20 acts as a potentiometer that outputs the steering angle in a voltage value. |
