<p>PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption by holding the degree of a natural discharge stopping voltage of a flash tube as the residual voltage of a main capacitor, by inhibiting the operation of a by-pass type light-emission stopping circuit when a light emission time is longer than a prescribed one. CONSTITUTION:The transistor (TR)Tl of a timer circuit is fist conducting and the TRT2 is also conducting. When a TR Ta turns on through the closure of an X contact, clocking is started by a resistance Ra and a capacitor Ct and a prescribed time later, a TRT8 turns on while the Trs Tl and T2 turn off. Before the prescribed time, a light-emission stop signal from a photometric circuit turns on an SCR1 through the TRT2 to exercise by-pass control. After the prescribed time, the light-emission stop signal is not transmitted to the SCR1 and light-emission stopping operation is not performed.</p> |
