PURPOSE:To enable quick issuance of labels by printing article designation and other necessary descriptions on a label and transferring the printed label to a waiting position within a period from the start of measurement to a time when the measured weight data is stabilized. CONSTITUTION:A CPU51 and a CPU52 exchange information corresponding to the operation of an operating unit 14. The CPU52 controls a paper feed controller 69, an indication controller 64 and a drivers 65-67 in accordance with the program of an ROM62 through a detector 61 corresponding to the presence of a label. During a period in which weighing operation is started, the weighing measurement is stabilized and a flag signal is provided by the CPU51 through a weighing unit 1, article designation is printed on a label by means of a dot head 74 or the like. Then, the printed label is transferred to a printing position, where the weight and the price are to be printed, by a controller 69 and is kept there for the next printing. Thus quick issuance of labels is attained. |
