<p>The column supported lifting platform has two transverse horizontal beams (5,6) each connecting two opposite columns. The beams support two rails (12,13) and can be lifted and lowered on the columns by cables (11). There are hooks (18) at the ends of the beams. The hooks can be attached by their free ends in holes in the columns by an adjusting system which moves them longitudinally relative to the columns. The adjustment is eccentric, in fact a mounting plate moving on the transverse beams.</p> |
