Process for fixing inner sole to shoe upper - has edge of upper held against shaped plates with inner sole applied to it

The process is for fixing an inner sole (P) on the upper (E) of a shoe with an edge bent towards the outside. The upper is placed on a mould (13) and the external face of its edges is placed against the edge of two shaped plates. Fingers near the edges of the plates determines the position of the edge of the upper. The inner sole is then applied to the upper and its position is fixed by the fingers. A press (9) is then applied to the parts in contact to bond them.
