PURPOSE:To set and change the attenuation quickly and easily, by providing a socket providing 4 terminals connected to input and output sides and a unit block preset for attenuation rate which is attachably and removably fitted. CONSTITUTION:A unit block 31 to set the attenuation has projected contacts 37- 40 on the upper and lower surfaces corresponding to holes 33-36 of a socket 32. The unit block is set to the attenuations of 1, 2, 4, 8 dB, and a T type attenuator is connected between contacts 39, 40 and contacts 37, 38 projected on one surface. The contacts 39, 40 and 37, 38 projected on another side of the unit block 31 are respectively in short circuit and set to 0 dB. The bottom surface of the socket 32 is provided with input and output terminals 41, 42 of the common line and terminals 43, 44 of input and output sides. The unit block 31 set for the specified attenuation on one side is fitted to the socket 32 by taking the surface down, and the 0 dB setting is fitted to the socket for the opposing side. The desired attenuation can be obtained by adding the attenuation 51 described on the upper side of the unit block. |
