PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid enclosed type counter for water meter, etc., which do not require any worm driving mechanism and which do not have any piercing shaft, by magnetically driving followers installed to a numeric wheel enclosed in a liquid in a nonmagnetic counter case through an external driver. CONSTITUTION:Numeric wheels 5-7 are enclosed in an aqueous glycerine solution , etc., in a nonmagnetic counter case 4 having a display window, and ferromagnetic followers 26 are installed on the margin of one 5 of the numeric wheels for the lowest numeral. These followers 26 are driven out of contact with anything by a magnet-made driver 27 which is installed at right angles to the followers 26 at the outside of the case 4 and which rotates proportionally to the flow rate, etc. Therefore, this counter does not require any worm driving mechanism, peircing shaft, etc., and also does not have any shaft resistance, etc., due to O-ring, etc. In this way, this counter can accurately measure even minute flow rates and clearly indicates integrated amounts because there is no intrusion of bubbles. |
