PURPOSE:To enable a master station to detect interruption of transmisson at slave stations, by inserting a monitor pulse at each transmission to a specific position in a transmission pulse train from each slave station. CONSTITUTION:In a transmission pulse train transmitted at each transmission time from a slave station, a differential pulse D indicating the reference phase of phase modulation and signal pulses S1-Sn indicating communication information are located between guard pulses G1 and G2 added for countermeasure when the transmission pulse train is overlapped timewise with that from another slave station, and a monitor pulse P is inserted between the differential pulse D as a specific position and the signal pulse S1. If no monitor pulse is received at a master station, a substitution signal in place of a reception signal is transmitted as a reception output. |
