PURPOSE:To turn on and turn off an electric power supply of an electric equipment of an unattended station without dissipating the power, by connecting an attended station and an unattended station with a non-metallic tube, and feeding compressed air from the attended station. CONSTITUTION:When sending a data signal to an attended station 4 from an unattended station 1, it is supposed that it is required to turn on an electric power supply of unattended stations 2, 3. In this case, compressed air is fed to each station 2, 3 from the station 1 through a non-metallic tube incorporated in an optical fiber cable, and the electric power supply is turned on by a pressure switch provided on the stations 2, 3. After confirming that the power supply has been turned on in the stations 2, 3, feed of compressed air is stopped. In this case, since an electric power supply relay is self-held, the electric power supply is not turned off. When turning off the electric power supply, the self- holding circuit is released by feeding compressed air to another tube, the electric power supply is turned ff, and the electric power supply consumption of the stations 2, 3 is stopped. |
