The electrical socket comprises a box (1), a cover with holes for a male plug (4) and a connecting plate (15) which is moved, by the plug only, from the cover towards the back (5) of the socket. This connecting plate (15) has holes in order to permit the insertion of the plug pins (4a) into plug contacts and has conductive pins (16a,16b) which are shifted in relation to its holes. When a plug (4) is inserted, the pins (16a,16b) of the connecting plate (15) enter the terminals (18a,18b) situated on the back of the socket. A spring (22) pushes the connecting plate (15) onto the cover of the socket. In this socket, each terminal (18a or 18b) on the back is formed from two parts; one is connected to the electrical source and the other to one of the plug contacts.
|
