<p>The heat recuperator comprises a lower header (2) into which discharges the return water from the heating circuit. Water tubes (3) form a fire grate and connect the header with a second lower header (1). This header is connected to an upper discharge header (4) by a bank of vertical tubes (5). The headers and vertical tube bank are enclosed by a fire-back plate and a sheet steel box section (7) forming an airtight casing which is heated by conduction through the fire-back plate (6).</p> |
