A device for adjusting the ignition advance for an internal combustion engine comprises two vacuum cells (1 and 2), of which the first, which is constantly subjected to the effect of the vacuum, causes displacement of an element (19) of the breaker of the ignition device, whilst the diaphragm (6) of the second vacuum cell (2) firmly connected to the first vacuum cell (1) as it is displaced carries along a moveable partition wall (20), which together with a diaphragm (5) defines the vacuum chamber (3) of the first vacuum cell (1). The second vacuum cell (2) is subjected either to the atmospheric pressure or to the effect of the same vacuum as the first vacuum cell (1). <IMAGE>
