PURPOSE:To eminimate complicated steps in the manufacture of a motor by providing a secondary conductor formed by press-fitting and connecting both ends of respective conductor bars fixedly inserted into a plurality of conductor slots perforated on the outer peripheral edge of a laminated core into an end ring of heated superplastic state. CONSTITUTION:Conductor bars 3 are so inserted fixedly into the respective conductor slots 1 of a laminated core 2 so that both ends 3a, 3b are externally projected from both ends of the slots, end rings 4 made of thermoplastic metal are heated at 120-270 deg.C, the outer ends 3a, 3b of the respective bars 3 are press-fitted into the end rings 4, and the respective bars 3 are connected to the end rings 4. In this manner, a squirrel cage rotor can be extremely simply formed in the work for forming the secondary conductor. |
