A tiled stove has a heating insert (15) for heating water as the heat transfer medium for a heat exchanger, connected downstream, in order to permit, after heating up, a rapid heat discharge. The heating insert (15) comprises at least one water pocket (20) which comprises two parallel steel sheets or the like welded together along a weld seam (20a).
