PURPOSE:To make possible high-speed and high-voltage discharge by causing high- density excitation through direct connection of a three-step deformed marx circuit with a discharge electrode of a laser discharge part with a high-speed capacitor. CONSTITUTION:If a spark gap 14 is triggered, a voltage on an intermediate capacitor bank 12 begins to inert by a time constant determined by the capacity of a capacitor back 12 and the inductance of an inversion circuit. At the same time, if capacitor banks 11, 13 are caused to act as a two-step marx circuit and a gap between the electrodes of a switch gap 20 is adjusted, the deformed marx circuit generates a high voltage and plate condensers 18, 19 are charged at high voltage to obtain a high-level laser output. If a high-voltage pulse reached a laser discharge part 16, a high-speed and high-voltage discharge occurs between laser discharge electrodes. |
