<p>PURPOSE:To improve the activity of a system by improving its toughness by providing a signal transmitting means of performing tranmission and reception at a higher signal transmission speed than a normal one when a fault is detected by a fault detecting means, and by transmitting information on the easiness of recovery, etc., obtained by diagnosing and estimating the position of the breaking of a wire. CONSTITUTION:A received signal from a transmission line 29 is inputted to a receiver 30, and the change point of the voltage level of the signal is extracted by a differentiator 31. At the output side of this differentiator 31, a demodulating circuit for normal operation is composed of gates 32 and 33, a one-shot multivibrator 34 and FFs 35 and 36, and a circuit which detects whether a transmission speed in normal mode is slow or not is also composed of a one-shot multivibrator 37 and an FF38. Further, a transmission part consists of a clock generator 46, a selector 45, a modulator 47, and a transmitter 48. When a fault is detected by a fault detecting means, transmission and reception are performed at a lower signal transmission speed than a normal one and information on the easiness of recovery, etc., obtained by diagnosing and estimating the position of the breaking of a wire is transmitted to improve the toughness of the system, thereby improving the activity of the system.</p> |
