The support for mounting a rear-view mirror to the door of a vehicle comprises a ball joint located between the casing (1) of the mirror and an arm (2) attached to the door. The casing is attached to the ball joint by a bracket which clips onto resilient projections (4) on the bottom of the casing interior. The projections are cylindrical in shape, are longitudinally split and carry externally facing teeth about their upper edges over which sleeves (7) on the bracket (3) locate.
