<p>PURPOSE:To realize the output of various voices with a reduced amount of memory capacity, by reading the voice data of the discriminating code corresponding to the voice output request given from a host computer out of the voice information transferred to a memory and synthesizing and delivering the voice. CONSTITUTION:A voice data 133 stored in a bulk memory 11 of a host computer 10 plus a proper word code 132 added to the data 133 are transmitted to a voice output device 1 with addition of a header 131. When a data is received at a receiving circuit 5 of the device 1, a microprocessor muPC2 examines the header 131 to know the transmission of the voice data and writes the data and the word code into a voice memory 3. With a voice request given from the computer 10, a voice output request header 141 is transmitted along with a word code 142 of the voice data. The device 1 reads out the corresponding voice data from the memory 3 based on the word code and feeds it to a voice synthesizing circuit 6. The circuit 6 converts the voice data into a voice analog signal and delivers a voice through an amplifier 8 and a speaker 9.</p> |
