PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor capable of reducing a wear by performing proper surface hardening processing on a scroll.SOLUTION: A scroll compressor is equipped with a fixed scroll 15; a swiveling scroll 16 supported so as to revolve and swivel; and a discharge port from which a fluid compressed by both scrolls 15 and 16 is discharged. On an end plate of the swiveling scroll 16, an end plate side stepped portion 16E formed so as to increase height on a center portion side and decrease the height on an outer terminal end side along a spiral of a wrap is provided. On a wall body of the fixed scroll 15, a wrap side stepped portion 15E formed so as to decrease height on the center portion side of the spiral and increase the height on the outer terminal end side is provided, corresponding to the end plate side stepped portion 16E. The swiveling scroll 16 is subjected to surface hardening processing, and the fixed scroll 15 is not subjected to the surface hardening processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
