PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser decoration device which can improve the manufacturing efficiency of a decoration component by shortening the processing time.SOLUTION: A laser decoration device 40 has the function of drawing patterns by irradiating the surface 3a of a workpiece with a laser beam L1. The laser decoration device 40 comprises a spatial light modulator 55 and a control device 43. The spatial light modulator 55 is configured by keeping a plurality of minute optical elements arranged in an array form to modulate a two-dimensional intensity distribution of an output beam L2 of the inputted laser beam L1. The control device 43 determines the intensity of an output beam L2 outputted from individual minute optical elements on the basis of laser irradiation data generated by image data that indicates patterns and controls the output beam L2 to irradiate the surface 3a of the workpiece 2 on the basis of irradiation patterns of the output beam L2 with a determined intensity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
