<p>Tyres for miniature, radio-controlled racing cars feature tread patterns, specifically annular ribs for the front tyres and a combination of plain annular ribs plus outboard annular ribs intersected by oblique slots. Process is used to mfr. tyres e.g. 65-80 mm dia. and 35-63 mm wide to fit hubs of 43-45 mm dia. Process provides a better grip in wet conditions than conventional cellular rubber tyres with plain tread profiles, porous or sealed. The oblique blocks on the rear tyres improve drive traction.</p> |
