PURPOSE:To firmly fix a cutting tool connected to a connecting block by moving a wedge near or apart by operations of a longitudinal screw provided at the rising section of the connecting block. CONSTITUTION:A cutting tool 3 is inserted into a fitting groove 2 of a fitting block 1. A wedge 5 which, together with a connecting block 4 fixed to the groove 2, fixes the cutting tool 3 is moved near or apart by revolutions of a longitudinal screw 16 provided at the rising section 15 of the connecting block 4, and a cutting tool shank 9 connected to the connecting block 4 is fixed by an wedge action into the groove 2 of the fitting block 1 free of removing. Hereby, the upper face of the cutting tool shank 9 is fixed by pressure elastically from above by means of a suppression rod 19. |
