Solar collector of the "flat" type, collecting heat emitted by diffuse solar radiation and direct radiation and concentrating the latter. It has a dual greenhouse and concentration effect. It consists of a protective box (1) closed by a glass (2) on the insulated face. Inside the box there are installed cylindrical collector tubes (4), the front half-face (4bis) of which is transparent and the rear half- face (4ter) of which is reflecting and embedded in an insulant (3). The cylindrical collector tubes (4) are positioned side by side and envelop concentrically finned tubes (5) which are themselves connected to the collector tubes of the cold (6) and heated (7) fluid or gas. The rear reflecting half-face of the collectors (4ter) has the function of sending the solar rays which have reached it back towards the rear faces of the finned absorber tubes (5). The superheating of the rear faces of the absorbers (5) causes a more rapid rise in temperature by virtue of the concentration of the solar rays. The use of this device is essentially envisaged for domestic requirements in the areas of the production of domestic hot water and the heating of rooms. <IMAGE>
