Locking device for pulling lines

In the case of curtains of the type that are equipped with a pulling line 9 for the raising of the curtain, which includes a locking device 1 for the pulling line and thus the blocking of the pulling line in various pull-up positions, the locking device 1 is equipped with a spring- loaded locking arm 6 which aside from the latch 8 which also has a lock 11 which does not come into contact with the pulling line until the locking arm 6 has been turned away so much that its latch 8 leaves the pulling line free for movement. The lock can have a spring-loaded design so that when the pressure increases it also increases the pressure on the pulling line.
