PURPOSE:To search for a fault easily by classifying history infromation of respective states of a computer, to keep the information in a history memory. CONSTITUTION:When a computer is in a state D (interpretation of instructions), a control state for showing the state D is set in the register part 3 of a history address generation part 1'. When the partial history area of the address 0 of the history memory 2 is assigned to the state D, history information in the state D is written in the partial history area of the address 0 successively. When the computer enters into a state R (read of index base register), a control state for showing the state R is set in the register part 3. Assuming the partial history area of the address 1 is assigned to the state R, the history information in the state R is written in the partial history area of the address 1. |
