PURPOSE:To obtain an analyzing apparatus having high resolving power of a position, by supplying discharge electric power between an electrode and sample while oscillating the electrode and sample back and forth between each position of contact and approach. CONSTITUTION:A sample 1 and an electrode 2 sharpened the tip end are provided and the electrode 2 is oscillated in contacting and separating direction toward the sample 1 by an oscillator 3. A power source apparatus 4 for discharging a spark consists of a direct corrent power source and a capacitor C and the electrode 2 and the sample 1 are connected to said capacitor C. The oscillator 3 is driven electromagnetically in about 400Hz frequency by an output of an oscillation circuit 5. When the electrode 2 is approached the sample 1, spark discharge is generated between the electrode 2 and the sample 1 and when an electric charge of the capacitor C is discharged, the spark discharge is stopped. In this manner, the discharge is repeated. The emission spectrochemical analysis having high resolving power of a position is made possible because the discharge point is fixed accurately and is not varied. |
