PURPOSE:To previously prevent an optional part from malfunction due to error attachment by separating a standard part storing elemental function data from the optional part storing the combined procedure of the elemental function data and forming the optional part attachably and detachably. CONSTITUTION:At the conduction of an electric power source to the body 12 of a controller, a CPU reads discrimination data 13a recorded in an optional part 13. The data 13a have been already inputted to the CPU by turning a loop discriminating switch 14 on before said reading-out from the optional part 13. The CPU16 compares the discrimination data 13a in the optional part 13 with that from the switch 14 and reads out elemental function data at the time of coincidence to start the controlling operation of a process or lights up an error display lamp 17 at the time of dissidence to inform error attachment of the optional part 13. When the error attachment of the optional part 13 is informed by lighting up the lamp 17, a new optional part is attached and its discrimination data is compared again to control the process. Consequently process malfunction due to the error attachment of the optional part 13 can be completely prevented. |
